Every bowl has a story. This was started 5yrs
ago by Roy Sanders. It was attached to a face plate and round.
He than got very sick and passed away. I helped his wife
sell some of his old tools and completed this turning for her.

The piece of wood in the background was donated to
the Youth Auction held at Peace Lutheran Church.
It was sold with intent of teaching the buyer about using a lathe, or
allowing the buyer to watch their bowl being made.

Mesquite and oak box. (That is what a container with
a lid is called in wood turning lingo.)
These are both crafted from mahogany.
Mahogany bowl. Given as Christmas gift, 2006. Wood came from a
tree in Florida, that my Step-Dad cut down, and sat on my porch for 3
years.
